US Mennonite Brethren

One Family. One Lord. One Mission

Education

It is hard to exaggerate the priority Mennonite Brethren have assigned to education since our beginning more than 150 years ago. Today our commitment to preparing young adults for life in the workplace, service in their community and ministry in the local church is carried out by Tabor College and Fresno Pacific University.

Tabor College

Tabor College, located in Hillsboro, Kan., with a second location in Wichita, Kan., is owned and operated by Mennonite Brethren congregations east of the Rocky Mountains. The Hillsboro campus offers a traditional undergraduate education while Tabor College Wichita offers undergraduate degree completion programs as well as graduate degrees in business and Entrepreneurial Ministry Leadership.

Ministry Quest

Ministry Quest, sponsored by USMB and Tabor College, is a yearlong, two-stage program for high school students who are curious about exploring God’s call and their potential for ministry and leadership. Ministry Quest partners with the local church, creates a growing community, develops mentoring relationships and utilizes ministry experiences. These values make the program unique and innovative.

Fresno Pacific University

Fresno Pacific University, with a 40-acre campus in Fresno, Calif., and four regional centers, is owned and operated by Mennonite Brethren congregations west of the Rocky Mountains. FPU is the Central Valley's only accredited Christian university, offering leading academic programs and ethical and spiritual development through traditional bachelor's degree, adult degree completion, master's and certificate and credentialing programs.

Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary

The USMB seminary is Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, located in Fresno, Calif., and part of Fresno Pacific University. The seminary offers seven academic degrees designed to inspire and equip men and women to live as disciples of Jesus Christ and to serve and lead in the church and world.
